The song metadata is being sent from the computer running Simian to the encoding computer with a serial null modem cable. Opticodec sends to Shoutcast 1.9.7 running on Windows 2000 server sp4. The encoding computer runs Orban's Opticodec PC PE. I'm playing out of BSI Simian through my mixing console to my encoding computer. I didn't find any answer to this question, in fact I didn't find much of anything mentioning Orban products, so hopefully someone can help.
